2025 Grammys Win: President Tinubu, Governor Sanwo-Olu, Obi, Davido Congratulates Tems

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Nigerian music superstar, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, on winning the Best African Music Performance award at the 67th annual Grammy Awards, held in Los Angeles, USA.

Presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga said in a statement that President Tinubu commended the singer for her unique artistry which he said has brought pride to Nigeria on the global stage for the second time.

Also, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in a post on X, described her win as a result of her exceptional talent and dedication.

Similarly, former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, in a post on X, also praised Tems and other artists who earned Grammy nominations, highlighting the country’s wealth of talent.

On his part, Nigerian music superstar, Davido in a post on Instagram Story, Davido celebrated Tems’ victory with the word ‘Congrats Queen’.
